About me

I've been drawing for 3 4 5 6 (?!) years, mythical creatures and robots being my favorite subjects. I am self-taught. I have also been doing plastic model work and scratchbuilding for 6 years, so I do have experience working in 3-D media. As far as drawing goes, my weapons of choice are Adobe Photoshop CS3, Corel Painter 9, and PaintTool SAI. In the past I often sketched and inked my drawings on paper, but I find I like the unlimited canvas digital work offers, so a lot of my work is 100% digital. ~~Hardware-wise, I have a HP Pavilion (Who I have named Deadborder ._.) and a gigabyte of RAM.Deadborder has been semi-retired~~ UPDATE: Deadborder is now living with my mom. HI MOM. I now have a ridiculous gaming PC; quad-core, 8 GB of RAM, 2.40 GHz processor, NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GTX video card, liquid cooled. He has been (appropriately) named GODKAISER (And sometimes Ferdinand when he gets finicky). I also have a little Asus netbook named Argus, but no serious arting occurs on him. I've been using a Wacom Intuos3 for the past 3 to 4 years. No complaints here.

You are welcome to save the images on this site to your hard drive to look at for personal enjoyment. You may also print the pictures if you like. Please do NOT sell prints of my images/items with my images on them or post the images on your own site claiming them as yours.

About the site

rustysalamander.net was the name I hosted ALL content pertaining to my hobbies and interests for over 3 years. But things started getting too big and difficult to update, so I decided to break the site down into subdomains. This is the third full redesign for rustysalamander.net I've gone through. This version of rustysalamander.net consisted of me flailing at the original CSS for the previous version and making a few new images to spruce things up. Most of the site was created and editted in plain old Notepad, but I did dabble in Dreamweaver a few times. Special thank you to Gryph for putting up with my retarded CSS questions.
